APB Signature Art Prize Finalists Exhibition

The works of all finalists in this international art competition – winners in their own right – are still available for viewing at the Singapore Art Museum. A smorgasbord of the finest in the region’s contemporary art scene at the moment, themes in the show include topics like identity, politics, and culture. Look out for Grand Prize winner Rodel Tapaya’s artwork Baston ni Kabunian, Bilang Pero di Mabilang (Cane of Kabunian, numbered but cannot be counted), which employs imagery from Filipino folklore juxtaposed with elements from modern day Philippines.
