In a city glutted with chocolate boutiques, Chocolat World proves to be different because they produce small batches of confection daily to ensure quality, using only the world’s finest Belgium Swiss chocolates. Customers crane their necks to peer at the bite-sized nibs arranged like gems in the window display, which offers decadent pralines, truffles, flakes, fudge and fruit-studded muffins.
The pralines have a great balance in taste, crunchiness and lightness. Each treat is sharpened with exotic flavours (ginger, passion fruit), paved with nuts, infused with silky ganaches or rolled in cocoa dust. Except for the Rochers which do not taste as convincing as their sensational pralines, chocolates here have an enticing smoothness and richness that offer sugar fiends immediate gratification.
