We’re not joking when we say there is a truckload of goodies outside Restoran Shangri- La for your feasting pleasure. Pisang goreng, agar-agar and kuih bakul are sold out of a truck parked outside the coffee shop, and patrons are often seen indulging their sweet tooth here after a hearty meal or two. The pisang goreng is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with the outer layer of batter complementing the sweet melting banana within. Conversely, agar-agar is the way to go if you prefer a cooler treat. Can’t decide? We say go for all three.
