Best for: Fruity froyos
Why we like it: 9 Berries specialises in Korean premium frozen yoghurt, though we can’t really see the distinction between what makes the frozen yoghurt Korean (besides the fact that they source their ingredients from Korea). We can, however, say that 9 Berries puts itself above the usual chains with a delicious selection of eight fruity, tangy flavours; two that quickly became our favourites were the Korean Citrus and passion fruit. Tart with a zesty sweetness, the Korean citrus isn’t as sour as the name suggests, but if you’re not one for lemons, passion fruit is your next best choice. The prices aren’t above the market price either; at RM6.90 a regular cup lets you have one fresh fruit topping (we chose mango cubes) and a dry topping (again, you can never go wrong with almond slivers).
Sunway Giza Mall, Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. Open daily, 10am-10pm (017 385 6694/www.facebook.com/Cafe9Berries).RM6.90 (regular), RM9.90 (large).
