The inaugural Malakoff 12km Kuala Lumpur Run 2008 will take place on Sunday, 21 December, 2008 at the Taman Rimba Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

The inaugural run is part of the sports development component of Malakoff Corporation and will be organised by Pacesetters Athletic Club (PACM), and will be offering a total of RM19,200 worth of prizes to the winners. Beside the 12km main run, there will also be a shorter 6km run event too.

Entry fees:
- 12km Run: RM40 / RM30 PACM members
- 6km Run: RM15
Closing date is on 15 December, or 2,500 entries, whichever comes first.

The run is organized to drive the local population toward a healthier lifestyle, with a greater involvement in sports and exercise among all age groups.

But, if you think that 12km is a wee bit too far, then why not go for the 6km run. Or, even if that’s way too much trouble, then just come on down and have fun cheering the participants on, kay.
