Putrajaya will host the fifth stop of 2008 IWSF Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup series from 7 - 9 November at the state-of-the-art Putrajaya Water Sports Centre at Precinct 6, Putrajaya, overlooked by the imposing Putrajaya International Convention Centre. The events involved will be Slalom, Shortboard and Jump and will feature the world's top ranked men and women elite competitors.
 
In each of the three disciplines of Slalom, Shortboard & Jump, 8 of the world's highest ranked women skiiers will participate plus 12 of the current top ranked men athletes. In total, approximately 60 of the world's best water ski competitors from 18 nations are expected to perform at Putrajaya during the first week of November.
