Pipit Zakka Store
Starting out as a forum and creative market, the fledging Pipit has finally settled into a proper, structured store. Zakka is the omnipresent fad in Japan and Taiwan, and the term includes anything that spruces up your home or outlook. Opened December last year by couple Mike and Ivery, Pipit Zakka Store is a platform for independent artists, designers and crafters to strut their creativity.
Squeal at adorable toys, homemade sundries, fluffy cushions, cartoon clothespins and customised bags which are painstakingly made, stitch by stitch. Their designs might be kitsch, but the store breaks the retail doldrums and injects a bit of colour into your home and living.
