Touted to be one of the hottest tickets whenever it comes around in our city, Topshop shows never fails to disappoint. This time around we were witnesses to the rush of fashion love. Inspired by retro fabrics and futuristic shapes, the icons were all there: David Bowie in heavy metallics and jungle print, Madonna in exposed bralets and Blondie’s Debbie Harry in micro minis. We arrived at the show a skeptic, and left a believer that prints can indeed clash, metallics mixed together subtly without having to look like the Tin Man and pastels layered stylishly for a clean but refined look.
