This October, KLPac will be staging a double bill play called Kisah Gadis featuring two fantastic original works - Gadis Jalan Burmah (monologue in BM & English) and Mangli (play in BM).

Not only will it be the first time these two plays are presented together as a single showcase, it will be directed for the first time together by the talented Megat Sharizal of Tat Nenas fame (which won him Best Director @ the Festival Teater 2004).

The two pieces delves into the lives of two ordinary women pausing to reflect on their lives, looking back at the road they've travelled and the journey that lies ahead. The little stories they share may not be epic but are still painfully meaningful, moving and relevant.

The double bill runs from 22 - 26 October at the KLPac. (22 Oct being a preview night).
