Dealing with the issues of living, dying and the suffering in between, Good People had a successful run in Singapore last year, and garnered a total of seven nominations in this year’s Life! Theatre Awards, the across-the-causeway’s equivalent of BOH Cameronian.
The play evolves around three characters – a medical doctor named Miguel, a jaded nurse Yati, and a terminally-ill patient called Radha who is addicted to marijuana as a pain reliever.
As the story unfolds, you’ll be confronted by these three character’s struggle with ethnics and conscience in one of life’s bleakest environment – a hospice. In a larger context, Good People is an intricate study of our society, its underlying dilemmas and the compelling personal stances we take in response to our problems. Meet the Good People at Pentas 2, KLPac (www.klpac) from May 14 - 18
