Leave it to the people at Quattro – four seasons/four clubs – to come up with something interesting and unique, a venue that reflects their own take on things.

The Library is up at Damansara, where they’ve found a new location at the former Cineleisure Damansara, now called E@Curve. They’ve had their other outlet, Sanctuary, there for some time so they’re familiar with the Damansara vibe and have infused The Library with components that will surely go well with this audience.

There’re hip spaces that can appeal to various moods and attitudes, connected yet feeling separate. For instance, those wanting to be in an outside terrace experience have an ample area provided to them, simple yet stylish benches and a covered canopy that doesn’t feel at all claustrophobic, an excellent little beer garden. Go to the interior, living room type portions; Chesterfield sofas are well placed and give the place a London, All-Bar-One feel.

There are a variety of good music genres and performers (that Laundry Bar is a stone’s throw away obviously was not lost on them and they do a respectable job to offer the same but different) and the staff are nice, adorned as sexy librarians. Even in the drinking category there’s some innovation, with the possibility to buy a whole barrel and serve yourself (RM808 before 10pm, RM888 after) as well as a superlative of the largest selection of beers and malt liquors in Malaysia.
