Rootz Dance Club

Rootz Dance Club

Lot 10’s swanky rooftop club is very basic; a vacuous room with the dance floor occupying half the space. Its design heralds back to the age of baroque – extravagant light fixtures and intricate curlicues adorn the walls and high ceilings. It does look like a modern interpretation of an old ornate Russian palace. The DJs know how to whip the crowd into heat with some well-positioned favourites.

Disappointing
Horrible experience at Rootz. On their website it says 'entry is based on management's discretion'. Unfortunately they portrayed 'discretion' as their bouncers asking for bribes. We were made to pay RM50 as a 'bribe' to get in. He called this an 'offer'. Everyone was extremely rude, from the General Manager to the ushering staff. They would rather flash their torchlight to direct you than open their mouthes to talk. What kind of 'service' is that? I guess 'customer service' is not one that they know how to execute.

Re: The Club that claims to be one of a kind
It was with high hopes we got to your club but when we came there it was an utter disappointment. The first on entry there is someone asking us how many bottles we need to purchase to make an entry. and when we enter upon payment the bottle being handed over to us. and thirdly when we entered the club there was no place even to place the bottle and no table and no chairs and no one is least bothered. This Rootz claimed to be one of a kind of club but i did not know that this was the one of a kind of club that it portrayed to its patrons. Very disappointing where we only saw that they club is just interested to make money and not to give comfort to the people who have come to relax and enjoy their night. people were entering into the club like a fish market pushing and missing bottles. Hope you can live up to the name of what you all claim to be, Very very disappointing.
