Laundry Bar
It is indeed a bar, and not a revolution, but perhaps a revolutionary bar for its down to earth, unpretentious ideals of supporting the local music scene and providing a relaxed environment where you can listen to aspiring artists. If music isn't all you're after, there's also a bar and the opportunity for bites to eat. Lovely. Also, their website is so cool it's almost better than the bar - check it out.
For mysterious reasons, this is a popular place for people to celebrate special occasions and the numerous milestones of their lives. Twenty-first birthdays, post graduation parties or quick catch-ups often take place, spanning a mixed crowd. It is never a surprise to see swarms of them downing beers as they watch sports or simply enjoy the music; the place is often packed. It is clear that Laundry Bar has gradually gained the hearts of the residents around the area.
