Hex Sensory Room
Right across town in the far green suburbs of Damansara, it’s not just Ecoba’s turf any more. Hex Sensory Room is making quite a splash in this bare concrete, industrial area. The bar is big and spacious with a minimalist vibe, and the alfresco area is a nice place to chill out with a beer or a cocktail. The furnishing is simple with nothing too fancy; mostly high chairs and the colour white.
Currently featuring a rotating lineup, they play chilled out beats for the early crowd and progress into the more commercial electro, R&B and house to keep the latecomers on the dance floor. Happy hours are from 5 – 9pm: RM19/pint of Kilkenny, RM22/pint of Paulaner, RM15/Pint of Tiger and RM50nett on three pints of Guinness Draught. They are running a Cocktail Night every Wednesday and its one free house cocktail for ladies, 15 per cent off for everyone else. As for food they share the same kitchen as Mayfair the English Kitchen and bar; so don’t worry about the calories, just work it off on the dance floor.
