7atenine’s got an intriguing description for their Japanese-themed NYE party. Dubbed ‘a new year’s eve where tradition meets the avant garde in harmonious anarchy’, they’re going all out with the theme and getting anime DJs (Shiro and Joro) flying in all the way from Japan and a Japanese sessionist to provide the entertainment too. And it won’t just be music at the bar. They’ve also enlisted LED geisha (yes, we also think this means they’ll be covered in lights) and Harajuku fringe dancers to liven up the party.

Compared to most, the tickets for this party are a little bit on the steep side. There’s reason why though. 7atenine are starting the evening’s festivities with saketini shots and Japanese tapas platters. The catch is that they’ll only be served from 7.30-9.30pm, so get there early. All in all, this one’s a New Year’s Eve party for grown-ups. No sweaty bodies in the crowd and no teenagers having wobbles in the toilet. Just a decadent evening with good drinks, food, and a gorgeous setting that’ll be inspired by Japan for one night.
