Akon is arriving on SQ 5326, arriving KLIA at 1.40pm on the show day, Saturday, Oct 24, 2009.

Akon is flying into Kuala Lumpur from Manila for approximately 24 hours to do the concert and promotional interviews before flying out to Australia to continue his Freedom Tour. Since it's a Saturday night, lucky fans might bump into Akon at the local club scene for the after-party.
 
The RM188 tickets are sold out, with the remaining tickets available are priced at RM88 and RM138. Fans who has purchased tickets can access the concert through the Sunway Lagoon Main Entrance. The gates are opening at 6pm and the concert starts at 8pm.

After much delay, ‘Akon Freedom Beach Concert 09’ is now back on track. Marctensia is re-launching the concert with a special offer to his fans and concert goers nationwide!

During the seventeen-day specific re-launch period (August 15 to August 31), those who purchase two tickets may instantly enjoy 10% discount cash rebate while purchasing four and more tickets can get up to 30% off.

Akon Concert Postponed to 24 October.

After much anticipation, ‘Akon Freedom Beach Concert 09’ originally scheduled on Thursday, 2 July 2009 has been postponed to Saturday, 24 October due to his personal reasons relating to his family emergencies; which caused him unable to make it to Malaysia.

The concert will be rescheduled to Saturday, 24 October, Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon at 8pm. The current tickets prices at RM88 (Beach Zone), RM138 (Rock Zone) and RM188 (The Pitt) remain unchanged and all tickets issued will remain valid for the show on the new date.
