You don’t hear much about this restaurant in comparison to its rivals, but their packed tables and a mostly Middle Eastern clientele says a lot about the Moroccan fare here. The lamb mandi in particular features melt-in-your-mouth tender lamb pieces with rice that’s flavourful enough to be tasty without overpowering the meat. Frequent diners will tell you that while the food here is excellent, Al-Andalus is known for being a shisha heaven; at just RM6 a pop, it’s an ideal spot to hang out in big groups and watch live matches on the screens.
Al Andalus was shortlisted in the Best Middle Eastern category of the Time Out KL Food Awards 2009, 2010 and 2011. Our food awards are 100% voted for by the people of KL. This way, we guarantee that popularity and consistent performance is rewarded.
