Zipangu

Zipangu

Zipangu defies Japanese restaurant stereotypes, offering avant-garde interior design with authentic cuisines. The restaurant is lush, fitted out with a walk-in wine and sake cellar plus sushi, grill and kappou counters where chefs prepare dishes before you. Food, although nothing ostentatious, is prepared with flair. The foie gras maki boasts a creamy aftertaste, the salmon sashimi perfectly cut, and the steamed chawan mushi silky smooth. The less adventurous would be pleased to find reliable mainstays on the menu such as soba noodle, unagi bento, grilled saba fish and an assortment of rolled sushi.
