Villa Danieli

Villa Danieli

RM188 per person for a five-course wine pairing dinner is a pretty decent deal. The wines served during this one-off event range from the traditional Tuscan DOCG’s to the latest Tuscan Urlo. Grown and cultivated from the Ruffino vineyards of Tuscany, this Italian label has produced some fine wines for over 130 years. In fact, Chianti Ruffino is one of the very first Italian wines that make it into the world market.

Victuals come in the form of pan-sealed US scallops, oven-roasted lamb loin with steamed asparagus and button mushrooms and squid linguine served with peanut sauce and black caviar.

As for dessert, opt for the Spicy Chocolate Parfait or the Moist Rosemary and Olive Oil cake, best served with the 2006 Serelle Vin Santo del Chianti.
To round off your evening Alan Wong, advisor to wine producers in Tuscany and Rheingau Germany, will share his expertise on the various Ruffino wines.
