A new Malay restaurant in the city, Songket is already creating waves as an affordable place to get your Malay food fix, made even more attractive with their set meals which can get you a main course, drink and dessert from as low as RM10. Their signature dishes include the ‘Aneka Pembuka Selera’ (a sample platter of Songket starters including cucur udang, popiah goreng, kepak ayam and tauhu sumbat) and rusuk panggang (chargrilled marinated short ribs served with pegedil, spicy sweet soy sauce and sambal belacan) to name a few.
