Aaron Sorkin’s new show follows a team of journalists working for fictional network Atlantis Cable News (ACN). Senior anchor Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) is a restless cynic who dependably pulls in the ratings for the network’s nightly primetime news. When his team resign knowingly due to his unapologetic behaviour, he is reunited with MacKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer), a former flame who arrives as his executive producer. As chaos ensues, find out how the team quixotically tries to pull together the news night after night. Needless to say, Sorkin’s writing is snappy and deliciously entertaining.
