Le Placard (The Closet) is about François Pignon, who when he finds out that the factory where he works at is currently downsizing, he conjures up a rumour about being homosexual. With the help of his neighbour, he proceeds to convince his peers and colleague in a desperate attempt to prevent his imminent firing at his work.
