Kinta is set in the Kinta Valley in the 1880s, when tin ore was discovered in the area and Chinese immigrants flooded the valley in the hope of making their fortune as miners.
Master Hoong (Patrick Teoh) of He De Paddock consolidates his domination of the Southern Ocean gang by teaming up with a mysterious secret society to suppress these struggling miners. A band of individuals, under the leadership of charismatic Dragon (Robin Ho), however decides to fight back. A story of brotherhood which turns from love to hate, and loyalty to betrayal…
Touted as Malaysia first martial movie, Kinta is directed by CL Hor, and will be released for screening nationwide from 4 December.
