This series will be spilt to two parts with Peter Greenaway's Prospero's Books (The Tempest) (1991), William Dieterle's A Midsummer Night's Dream (1935), Kenneth Branagh's As You Like It (2006) and Grigori Kozintsev's Hamlet (1964) for the first part.
Part two will feature Akira Kurosawa's Ran (King Lear) (1985), Joseph L. Mankiewicz's Julius Caesar (1953), Orson Welles' Chimes at Midnight (Henry IV & Merry Wives of Windsor) (1965) and Jerome Robbins' West Side Story (Romeo & Juliet) (1961).
