MTV World Stage Live is here for its third year and as usual, the tickets are not for sale. Before you panic at the possibility of missing out on Jared Leto and co., have no fear because we’re here to tell you how to score tickets to one of the biggest music events of the year.

Every other hour or so, tickets will be made available for you to win. Keep an eye on the countdown clock for the next session. Simply click on the moving flight cases at the bottom of the page, as one of them might contain your free tickets. You’d know you have the right box if a pop-up appears with the text ‘In 250 characters, tell us why you deserve to attend MTV World Stage Live Malaysia 2011.’ Cook up something awesome.

i-City

Be the first 500 to purchase the Fire & Ice Package at RM300 each, and besides a MTV World Stage pass, you also get 10 tickets to Snowalk@i-City and 20 tickets for outdoor rides. You can also be among the 300 winners to win passes if you spend RM100 (in single or accumulated receipts) at selected outlets in i-City from now until July 10. Xpax, UOX and SOX customers can stand a chance to win passes by sending ‘MTV’ to 28881 and reloading a minimum of RM50 until July 15. Click here for instructions.

You can also join the SMS-based mobile social network Kolony by sending Kolony to 25333. World Stage Roadshows

Here’s your chance to try and win passes and have some fun while you’re at it. There are two roadshows coming up to give you a little taste of the music event as well as meet MTV VJs Utt and Holly.

The first one kicks off at e@Curve from July 9-10. Here you can stand a chance to win passes by participating in their games and other activities. The next one will be on July 16 at i-City, the concert venue itself (so you can check out the place and identify important necessities you might want to bring on concert day). There'll be a screening of the previous World Stage concerts too, so you can see just what you're in for.
