Go now: 27th German/European Film Weekend

Listen up all European film buffs. HELP University is hosting the 27th German/European Film Weekend during which five films will be screened for free. Some of these films may be hard to stomach if you're used to the usual fluff and buff of Hollywood blockbuster material but why tread waters you're familiar with? Here are five films to choose between this weekend:

Arn: Knight Templer (Sweden)
The knightly son of a Swedish nobleman must journey to the Holy Land as a sentence for falling in love with a forbidden romantic partner, Cecilia.

Brotherhood of the Wolf (France)
King Louis XVI dispatches young scientist Gregoire de Fronsac to find the wolf. On arriving in Gevaudon, they find that the soldiers previously sent to catch the beast are more adept at terrorising the locals.

Ironclad (England)
Based around King John’s exploits, this action thriller tells the true story of a motley crew of tough, battle hardened warriors.

Henry of Navarre (Germany)
