It’s amazing how an image of a puppy in a tiny rocking chair can immediately lighten up your day, and whoever created Emergency Cute Stuff probably had this in mind when setting up the Twitter account – as a solution to those moments when we urgently need to look at a cute puppy or kitten. Contrary to popular belief, it happens more often than you think.

If the image of a kitten hugging a potato has no effect on you (you poor, heartless thing), then how about a smiling hedgehog or a sleepy red panda slumped over a tree branch?
