Yee I-Lann : Boogeyman

Yee I-Lann is known as a multi-disciplinary artist and in her Boogeyman exhibition, she explores the notion of local body politic, the birth of Malaysia as a nation, piracy and resistance; and includes significant new body of works in photomedia, batik and pewter. Boogeyman will introduce her new body of work ‘The Orang Besar Series’, which illustrates the Orang Besar structure. Look out for her publication ‘Fluid World’ in November where it documents her major works over the past 15 years of her career.
