The KL Photoawards Contemporary Photographic Portraiture Competition returns for the second time.

The first KL Photoawards competition was a resoundingly huge success. Over 500 entries were received, some coming in from photographers as far away as USA, Russia, the UK and Europe; and closer to home Japan, Australia, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines and Singapore.

KL Photoawards 2010 is open to photographers from all nations, over 14 years, from full time students, enthusiasts, semi professional to professional photographers. The competition is WIDE OPEN! There will be no distinction between pros and non-pro photographers, simply because we found from the 2009 event that the non-pro standards were very high, with some extraordinary technical and conceptual images received.

All prize winners will also receive the Analogue/Digital Man Trophy, a specially commissioned sculptor from British artist Matt Richards. Winners will also receive a 1 year's subscription to ArtMalaysia magazine, and a copy of TO Visitors Guide and Restaurants, Bars and Clubs publication.
