The Calling of Ramadhan is an art exhibition contributed by 10 renowned Malaysian artists. Inspired by Raja Azhar’s visit to the Holy Land and in conjunction with the coming of Holy Ramadhan, these contemporary artists are taking up the challenge by using a modern approach to create exciting and captivating artworks to depict and glorify the greatness of Allah.

Artworks showcased are based on each artist’s unique interpretation of Ramadhan using different materials and medium while exploring and incorporating colours and textures into their artworks. The collection features modern Arabic calligraphy, abstract paintings, social commentary artworks, drawings and sculptures portraying the spirit of Ramadhan. Thus this exhibition is truly a unique experience providing insight into the mystical month of Ramadhan as seen and felt by the artists.
