Zoo Negara houses over 5137 of Wildlife animals from 459 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish on a 110 acres of land. Visitors may stroll around to witness more than 15 animal exhibits, among which is the Ape Centre located at the prominence of Zoo Negara, which have an open area concept working closely to the natural habitat in the wild. Visitors may also walk through a man-made murky cave to catch glimpses of ocean ambiences which houses fresh water fishes at the Freshwater Aquaria.

The must visit points at Zoo Negara are the Humboldt Penguins Enclosure, Bear Complex, Children’s World and Savannah Walk. There are many other exciting exhibits to look around at the Zoo such as Mammal Kingdom, Primates Section, Reptile Park, Bird Aviary, Cat Walk and a beautiful lake which is home to hundreds of Painted Storks.

A must watch programme at Zoo Negara is the Multi animal Show which is shown at 11pm and 3pm daily. Witness Bat; the Sea lion do amazing tricks to cheer the crowd.
