Asian Arts Museum University Malaya
The Museum of Asian Art is home to over 2,000 pieces of ceramics from Malaysia, Thailand, Khmer, Vietnam, China, Japan, India and Iran. Officially opened in 1980, the museum is situated between the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Administration in a three-storey building.
The museum is renowned for its largest collection of kendi (water vessels) in the world. There are also galleries holding stone carvings, Islamic art collections, weaved materials, copperware, weapons, kites, and paintings by local artists.
