Games, samplings and tasting booths will be scattered across Publika during the two-day weekend celebration. Within Ben's Independent Grocer (B.I.G.), families can participate in sashimi slicing sessions, curry puff making demos and children's games. A sausage sizzler, hot dog cookout and meat mastery demo will also be held at the butchery within the supermarket. Those interested in cooking demos can register in advance at social@thebiggroup.co. You can also expect these activities on May 26 and 27 respectively:

Saturday, May 26
The day's events will kick off with an attempt to plate up a gargantuan plate of nasi lemak from 9am-11am. In the evening, jazz and soul musicians will perform.

Sunday, May 27
Attend the B.I.G. Bubbly brunch from 11am-2pm which will see a free flow of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin accompanied by gourmet treats. Held at Ben's General Food Store, the brunch is strictly reservation only (03 6209 1717) and is priced at RM150 per person or RM100 without champagne. From 1pm-8pm, a barn-style barbeque will be organised at The Square, Publika where hot dogs, hamburgers and salads will be served followed by a free movie screening at the auditorium after.
