Want to get your kids interested in history? Then register them for the Sleepover @ Muzium Negara event.  Held in conjunction with the Merdeka celebration, the objective of this Sleepover programme is to expose students on the role of the museum, and to let them gain a better insight and understanding of the museum; not as an antiquated building that houses dead objects but as one of the leading institutions of education which conserves, preserves and exhibits priceless artefacts of history and culture and contributing to nation building.

The sleepover starts at 4.00 pm 30 August  and will end at 1.30 pm on 31 August. It is free and is open to students aged 13 – 18 years old. Places are limited to 50 participants only, so do register early.
