Open to all Malaysians, permanent residents and foreigners with a valid work permit, the marathon is divided into nine categories: The Half Marathon Men Open and Half Marathon Women Open for ages 18 and above; Half Marathon Men Veteran and Half Marathon Women Veteran for ages 40 and up; 7km Men Open and 7km Women Open for ages 18 and up; 7km School Boys and 7km School Girls for teens aged 13 to 18 and the 3km Fun Run (children below the age of 12 must be accompanied by at least one parent). Registration can be made on www.pjhalfmarathon.com.
