All the single ladies, put your hands up! Malaysia's only Hip, Urban, Relevant and Real Pageant is now on the hunt for The NEW Miss Universe Malaysia 2010. Hip, Urban, Real and Relevant – these four simple words encapsulate the essence of the newly rebranded Miss Universe Malaysia 2010.

The 2010 pageant is titled “The NEW Miss Universe Malaysia” as the concept differs to how pageants are, and have been previously run. The Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation (MUMO) is seeking a different kind of Beauty Queen; one that is smart, fresh and down to earth, has leadership skills, a great sense of humour, and has the basic makings of a STAR.

Open casting calls for hopeful beauty queens are being held over the month of March in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang.  Details as follows:
    
13 March 2010, 10am – 4pm
- Lily Room, Concourse Level, One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya            
            
20 March 2010, 10am – 4pm
- Perdana I & II, Level 3, Cititel Penang, Penang                
    
27 March 2010, 10am – 4pm
- Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur        

The Grand Finale is set for the 15 May 2010 at the Royale Chulan Hotel, KL.            

Prospective candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 26 years old as of 1st February 2010, with a minimum height of 162cm (5ft 3inches). Dress to impress and if you have any skills or talent that you would like to show off, please bring all the necessary materials.
