This monthly cooking class for kids looks at teaching basic kitchen skills and food science in an engaging way. This month the menu is: pizza, muffins, chocolate mousse, modelling chocolate.
For children 8 – 12 years old.
Jen's classes include:
Food Discussion - history, information, awareness, science, assortments, safety, cleanliness, storing, handling, party planning
Practical Fun -eating outdoors, indoors, setting the table, food and table etiquette, tasting, reading recipes
Kitchen - safety, cleaning, maintenance, attire
Preparing Meals - menu, ingredients, cutting, peeling, dicing, assembling
Cooking Techniques - frying, grilling, barbequeing, baking, steaming, roasting, toasting, boiling
