The theme of the Convention, "The Business of Batik", is intentionally wide, allowing for participation from anyone related to the batik craft and industry including the wider areas of textiles and textile production, fashion and marketing, new technology, new trends in textile decoration, new applications as well as batik art history and craft & heritage preservation.

Look forward to the 'The Business of Batik' Convention (Dec 11-12) that will  bring speakers and experts from around the world to KL to share their knowledge and expertise.

There will also be Piala Seri Endon batik design competition which will provide a platform for Malaysia's batik making talents to show their stuff. The Grand Finale will be held on Dec 13.

Also, look out for the Batik Exhibition (Dec 11-13), the first of its type focusing on the Batik industry in this region and the world.

The KLIB Convention 2009 will be held on Dec 11-12, from 10.30am - 6pm while the KLIB Exhibition will be held from Dec 11-13 from 10.30am-5pm.
