Haruhi Suzumiya Hmmm...what is Daicon? Well, if you're an otaku, you should be ashamed for asking this question. But then, for the sake of the normal general population out there, Daicon is a celebration of the best Japanese modern Visual culture.

To put it more succinctly, it's an expo, created for the sole purpose of showcasing the latest and most innovative creations in the world of modern Japanese visual culture, from audio to video, print as well as interactive media. Among the best activities being held are Cosplay, Figurine exhibition, Doujin-shi Corridor, A live appearance by Chihara Minori, trading cards, and more.
