Learn more about Sarawakian culture at the Borneo Hornbill Festival KL – an inspiring showcase about the natives’ customs and practices. The highlights are the Kumang and Keling events. Kumang is a competition to select the prettiest woman dressed in Iban costume while Keling picks the best costumed man performing the Ngajat dance. The Borneo Hornbill Festival will also feature a Sabahan beauty contest, Unduk Ngadau, which serves as a memorial to Huminodun, the sacrificed daughter of the Kadazandusun spirits Kinorohingan and Suminundu.
